Founded in 2012 by Argy Kakissis and Yannis Pantazis, the Symposion Cultural Center is housed in a beautifully restored turn-of-the-century winery in the charming village of Megalochori. The center offers a unique blend of music, art, mythology, and tradition, seamlessly connecting ancient Greek stories with contemporary life while celebrating the country’s rich cultural heritage.

Visitors are invited to embark on an immersive cultural journey through interactive music presentations led by renowned artisan Yannis Pantazis, hands-on pan flute crafting workshops, and captivating live evening performances in the garden courtyard. The experience is further enriched by a vintage instrument exhibition, a serene mythological botanical garden, and engaging “Wine Philosophy” sessions, where guests can savor exquisite wines while exploring the historical and artistic significance of ancient Greek symposia.
