Two-day Wine Tourism in Santorini
Santorini hosts this year’s event of the Wine Tourism Conference of the Ministry of Tourism – EOT with the theme: “Greek Wine Tourism: Strategies & prospects for the post-Covid era”, on the 5th and 6th of July, 2021.
The Conference will develop the perspectives of the thematic unit of Wine Tourism in the post-Covid era and will present the Strategies for the development of the Greek Wine tourism product for the critical years to come.
The aim of the Conference is to analyze the data that are formed both in the near future and in the long run, based on the opportunities presented through the resumption of tourism.
Speeches and presentations at the Conference will be introduced by the Founder / President & CEO of the World Wine Tourism Organization (GWTO) Mr. José Antonio Vidal, the Director General of CEEV (Comité Européen des Entreprises Vins) Dr. Ignacio Sanchez Recarte, the General Secretary of Tourism Policy & Development Mrs. Vicky Loizou, the Head of the General Directorate of Tourism Policy of the Ministry of Tourism, Dr. Panagiota Dionysopoulou, the Researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Sociology of Attica of ELGO. “Dimitra”, Dr. Maria Alempaki, the Master of Wine Mr. Ioannis Karakasis, the Chairman of the Board EDOAO and Chairman of the Board SEO Dr. Ioannis Vogiatzis and the Representative of “Wines of Crete” Mr. Nikolaos Miliarakis.
